Gurpurab Celebration organised by the school management
Keeping with the secular ethos of the school, the students of 2nd Andes RMG International School celebrated Gurpurab, one of the several auspicious religious festival of Sikhism ,the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with great fervour and gaiety. The assembly commenced with the recitation of first pauri of Jap Ji Sahib. Students chanted the Mool Mantra Ek Om Kar from Guru Granth Sahib and also sang the Shabad Gurubani. Children highlighted the birth and early childhood of Guru Nanak and emphasized on the teachings of the first Sikh Guru .Children were dressed up beautifully and upheld the Guru's simple principles of life. The students carried Sikh flags also. Director Mrs Mona Gupta addressed all the students and appreciated the efforts of teacher incharge and students .A visit to Gurdwara was also organized by the school for students. When children visited the Gurdwara they covered their heads and washed their hands before they sat down to listen to the kirtan. They ate the Prasad and were also served the Langer which they found very delicious
